Hello and welcome to our website! We are Joy and Lee Pilkington, we live with our two sons Brandon & Nathan and our bullies in Hartlepool, which is a town on the North East Coast of England. We aquired our first bull terrier in 1995 as a family pet. It wasn't long before we were totally hooked on the breed and decided to breed our own line of bull terriers! We bought our foundation bitch 'Majico Air of Permanance' {Kiera to us} from James Milligan & Harry Pollock of the Majico kennel in Scotland in 1995. Every bull terrier we have is a decendant of Kiera's, we are ever grateful to the Majico kennel for letting us have such a great bitch. We registered our kennel affix 'Javarke' with The Kennel Club in 1996 and had our first litter in 1997. In 1999 we bred our first Champion CH Javarke Jack Flash {Maverick to us}; Sire CH Majico Midnight Sun; Dam Majico Air of Permanance. We campaigned Maverick throughout 2000 and into 2001, he exceeded our dreams for him by winning 4 CC'S, 3 with B.O.B, 1 RCC; B.O.B at Crufts in 2001, The sandawana Trophy for best coloured bull terrier in the UK in 2000 and Runner up Ormandy Jug for reserve best bull terrier dog in the UK in 2001. We usually have around 6 to 8 bullies at home, all of our dogs get on well together having excellent temperaments, health is also very important to us, we actively health test our breeding dogs. We breed usually 1 or 2 litters a year, concentrating on quality not quantity. Our breeding aim is to produce bull terriers as close to the breed standard as possible; Well balanced, typey dogs with excellent conformation, substance, head, expression, movement, health and above all else a happy, friendly temperament.
